During the pre-election periods, he survived numerous hate ‘attacks’ thrown at him. From the newspaper advert of Ekiti state governor where Nigerians were warned of an ‘imminent’ northern death, to former first lady, Patience Jonathan, tagging him ‘brain dead’, his certificate saga and more, it was obvious that the birthday ‘boy’ has a strong personality. He rose above those hate speeches among several others before emerging as the president.
