Sussex bowler Matthew Hobden dies at the age of 22

Hobden made his first-class debut for Sussex in 2014

Sussex cricketer Matthew Hobden has died at the age of 22.

Born and educated in Eastbourne, Hobden made his first-class debut for Sussex in 2014 and represented the county in all formats of the game.
A promising seam bowler, his final appearance was in a one-day match against Essex last August.
"Sussex Cricket is deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Matthew Hobden," the county said in a statement.
